Zenless Zone Zerowill be released onJuly 2, 2024. As miHoYo’s first major release sinceHonkai: Star Rail, HoYoverse fans are incredibly excited to hop in and see what the title has in store for them. However, you’ve got to ensure you log in at the right time on launch day.
SinceZenless Zone Zerorequires an online connection to be played, it’s also subject to downtime or just being unplayable when the servers aren’t live or are experiencing issues. In the lead-up to the game’s launch, you’ll likely see the game can’t be played because the servers simply aren’t running at that time. If you wait patiently and log in at the right time, you’ll see that you may get in and play alongside everyone else.

What time willZenless Zone Zerobe released?
Zenless Zone Zerogoes live on June 25, 2025, at10 AM UTC/3 AM BST/7 PM PT. This is fairly reasonable for parts of the world, including those of us in the UK who have already set the day aside to play. For those in the US, playing the game the moment the servers go live will require you to get up incredibly early.
Considering how many fans are eager to play this game and how many will be desperately downloading it on the day instead ofhaving it preloaded, the servers are likely going to be jammed for hours. This could prevent you from playing, so it pays to leave it a few hours or even a day before jumping in to try it out.

Is there any launch maintenance forZenless Zone Zero?
At the time of writing, there is no planned server maintenance forZenless Zone Zeroat launch. If this changes, I’ll update this section of the article. Developer miHoYo would only take the servers down for maintenance if a glitch was preventing players from joining or a more serious issue had occurred.
As I’ve already mentioned, server queues are expected around the release of big online games such as this. There’s not much miHoYo can do about the sheer number of players jumping into the game outside of implementing a restricted queue system that slowly drip-feeds players into the game to allow the servers to slowly adjust to the numbers instead of having bottlenecks crop up.
