As part oftheir financial report, Nintendo has given us some more Wii U details. Those details are that we shouldn’t expect much details about the console at E3. Well, don’t expect a release date, price or the launch titles.

What we will know is what the final version of the Wii U will look like, and Nintendo will discuss the software lineup for 2012. Nintendo intends to announce the launch dates and price sometime after E3 2012, as the company has normally done in the past with previous platforms.

Nintendo’s Satoru Iwata did also reiterate that the Wii U would be coming out this year still in the United States, Japan, Europe and Australia.
