Excited for Fortnite’s new event? When does it take place, though?
It has been revealed that Fortnite is about to feature a new mini-event, which will have to do with the next season. The event was confirmed earlier today (July 13, 2025) and is set to take place in just a few days. So, when is the next event? And what exactly is it going to be?
New mini-event to happen in Fortnite soon
Fortnite’s next event is set to take place fairly soon. With Chapter 5, Season 4 set to premiere on August 16, it looks like this new event will help prepare players for the next season.

A countdown has officially appeared in Fortnite, too. Players can continue eyeing that to know just which time to expect the event to begin.

What will the new Fortnite event be?
So, what will happen in the new Fortnite event? Well, while nothing has been revealed, many are expecting the event to have something to do with Marvel. Chapter 5, Season 4 has already been basically confirmed to be another Marvel season, so we can only expect the Season 3 event to hint at upcoming components for the next season.
If it’s not Marvel, though, it could have something to do with the current Wasteland season. So, Mad Max and Fallout may play a part in the upcoming event.
It could also have nothing to do with any of these speculations. We have literally no clue. This is what makes Fortnite so unique and exciting, though. These events are what made Fortnite so famous in the past, and it is great to continue to see where the game goes.
