Esports World Cup 2024 TEKKEN 8 results

Here are all of the TEKKEN 8 results, featuring the Grand Final, Playoffs, Phase 2, and Phase 1. On Aug. 23, ULSAN came out on top after sweeping Atif “Atif Butt” Ijaz 5-0 in the Esports World Cup 2024 TEKKEN 8 Grand Final.

The TEKKEN 8 event began with the Group Stage on Aug. 21. The TEKKEN 8 Playoffs then started on Aug. 23 and featured the top competitors battling for spots in the Grand Final to win the lion’s share of the $1,000,000 USD prize pool. In the end, ULSAN look home the gold and earned $300,000 USD.

The tournament format had three phases. Phase 1 featured eight groups of four players in a GSL-style, double-elimination bracket with matches being first to two (Ft2). Two players then advanced further in the competition. Phase 2 followed the same format. However, it featured four groups instead. The final phase was a single-elimination bracket with matches being first to 5 (Ft5).
