Many streamers and fans congratulated Neff for signing with OTK, and expressed that this was a great move for the company. After the announcement was made, OTK revealed that Neff would be hosting the OTK Film Festival this March, which will be a $10,000 green screen film festival that’s open to all aspiring filmmakers. Similarly,OTK’s Extra Emilywas given the chance to host a game show after signing with the company last year. Plus,in a statement to Forbes, Neff said he plans to revive his Twitch showHey, Donnawith OTK, and that he’s excited to play more funny characters in videos.
Apart from Neff’s signing, OTK’s 2024 road map revealed projects and events that fans can look forward to, like OTK’s Top Streamer in April, where it will discover a future superstar in streaming; the return of the OTK Games Expo in June; and newWorld of Warcraftesports events. Of course, fans will still get regular content from creators' Twitch streams and YouTube videos.
OTK’s plans are indeed exciting for creators and fans alike, but its past controversies might catch up to it in the future. Last year, Twitch streamerAdrianah Lee sued some OTK creators for millionsin damages over defamation claims, following allegations that Mizkif downplayed and covered up her sexual assault. While Mizkif isn’t listed as part of OTK’s creator network, he’s still involved in the company’s projects.
