Tristan Thompsonhad a night out in New York City on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old athlete — whose team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, are playing the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Thursday — was photographed leaving the Four Seasons Hotel in midtown to head out for dinner.
He was dressed casually for the meal, staying warm from the cool East Coast weather in black sweatpants, a matching hoodie, and a padded jacket.
Thompson’s night out comes amid a troubling time in his personal life. Earlier this month, he allegedly hooked up withJordyn Woods, the best friend of girlfriendKhloé Kardashian’s sisterKylie Jenner.

Within an hour of the reports, Thompson tweeted a post saying, “FAKE NEWS,” seemingly denying the incident. That tweet, though, was later deleted.
Since then, Thompson has remained silent — and mostly out of the spotlight. On Tuesday, he spent some time with his teammates in Cleveland, dining with them at a special Black History Month luncheon where he was photographed smiling in a Cavaliers tracksuit.

Kardashian, on the other hand, has kept up with her business commitments, includingan appearance at the Los Angeles opening of PrettyLittleThing’s new storejust two days after the cheating scandal broke.
On Wednesday, she was spotted out doing a little retail therapy at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills.
“Hi loves, wanted you to know that I appreciate you!” Kardashian wrote. “I’ve been reading your kind words and they really are a blessing to me. I love you! Thank you Thank you!”
It was the first time Kardashian has addressed the controversy,aside from a cryptic quote about “snakes” she posted to her Instagram Story on Sunday. And while the outspoken reality star will likely have more to say, she explained that she’ll be laying low on social media until she’s ready to talk.
“I’ll be back when I’m in the mood to chat with you all,” Kardashian added, giving some parting advice. “Until then remember to be kind to one another.”

Meanwhile, Woods, 21, has also been avoiding the spotlight, save foran appearance last Thursdayat the launch event for herEylure X Jordyn Woods Lashes.
Aside for thanking her fans for support, she’s kept quiet about the incident (her rep had no comment to PEOPLE). But she did sit down withJada Pinkett Smithto tape an episode of her Facebook Watch show Red Table Talk, in which she will presumably address the alleged affair. That episode is set to air on Friday.
According to a source, Woods' upcoming appearance onRed Table Talkcould lead to even more trouble between the model and the Kardashian-Jenner family as she signed an “ironclad NDA” with the family.
“She can’t talk about the family, so it’s unclear what she’s going to be able to say to Jada,” the source explained. “She can apologize but can’t talk about anything really beyond that in terms of the family.”
The source added that “the Kardashians are feeling 100 percent done with Jordyn” and that they’re “pissed” that Woods may try to make amends during her public appearance on the show.

Another insider told PEOPLE that Woods had claimed she had drunk heavily that night of the alleged hookup with Thompson but she immediatelyknew she made a mistake.
“She was drunk but not blacked out,” the source said. “Afterwards she knew she had messed up and was like ‘I gotta go, I gotta go.’ It was a one-time thing.”
And while Woods has madenumerous attempts to apologizesince news of the cheating scandal broke, even after moving out of Jenner’s house, what she’s telling the Kardashians allegedly isn’t consistent.
“Her story keeps changing a bit, and it’s almost like she is digging herself deeper,” a source previously told PEOPLE. “It’s been a week now of nonsense explaining from her side. Everyone thinks she wanted to hook up with Tristan and she just didn’t think she was gonna get caught.”
