Tom Hanks has confirmed that he has started working on the highly anticipatedToy Story 5. Even though the previous film in the series was once believed to be the final entry, theupcomingToy Story 5was confirmed at Disney’s D23 Expo in August 2024. The film will see the return of Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and many other toys, who will try to stay relevant as their owner becomes obsessed with technology.Toy Story 5is set to release in theaters on August 05, 2025.

Toy Story 5 Will Tell A Relevant Story
Even though the ending of the last movie was great, I am excited that anotherToy Storymovie is happening. I don’t think Pixar would make another movie in the series if they didn’t have a great story to tell, so I have hope that the project will be just as good as the otherToy Storymovies.Early story details confirm the new movie will deal with technology, which means that it will tell a very relevant story. Over the next year, leading up to its release, I am excited to learn Story 5.
