The Rainbow Six Siege (R6) tournament at the Esports World Cup 2025 (EWC 2025) treated us to many amazing matches in its initial stages. Only four teams survived that mayhem, and they are up to taking the biggest slice of the $2.000.000 prize pool.
The semifinals happen on Friday, Aug. 8. Here, you’ll find all the details: stream, overview, and results.

The four Rainbow Six Siege teams in the EWC 2025 semifinals made it through the Groups stage and the starting playoff matches. Only two remain in the run for the #1 spot — winning the semifinal is a step towards this goal.

FURIA 1:2G2 Esports— G2 win the match and advance to the grand final at th R6 EWC 2025
FURIA started strong in this match. On Kafe Dostoyevsky, they won — even if the game was close. But then, everything fell apart for them. On their map pick, G2 Esports were unstoppable. Winning 7:1 was a mighty statement!
The fate of the grand final spot was decided on the decider map. Again, G2 dominated it. The European team advances to the main match of the Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2025!

It’s the first major Rainbow Six esports event of 2025. Twenty teams clashed in an intense group stage, but only eight secured spots in the R6 RE:L0:AD Rio playoffs.
The tournament start was difficult for FURIA, as they lost their opening match at the R6 Esports World Cup 2025. Then, the team recovered and advanced to the EWC playoffs via the lower side. In the quarterfinal, FURIA defeated Virtus.pro — their comeback in game 2 was brilliant!
G2 Esports also experienced a bitter loss in the Groups stage of the R6 EWC 2025. However, they defeated a mighty opponent to earn their playoffs spot. G2 won over FaZe, the winners ofSix Invitational 2025.
In the quarterfinal. G2 Esports had a tough match versus Ninjas in Pyjamas. G2 won only in overtime on the decisive map.
Spacestation Gaming 0:2Team Secret— Secret win this Rainbow Six Siege EWC 2025 semifinal
Team Secret totally dominated game 1, even if Nighthaven Labs was a pick of their opponents. With that level of play, it felt like the semifinal is decided, but suddenly Spacestation Gaming woke up. As Attackers on Bank, they created lots of troubles for Team Secret and even were one round away from overtime.
However, the strategy of Spacestation had big holes, and they were disastrous in crucial moments. Team Secret won the final round to advance to the all-European R6 EWC 2025 grand final.
Spacestation Gaming eliminated Team Falcons from this tournament, but the Group stage did not go flawlessly for them. The final result is more important than one initial loss, though.
The quarterfinal for this team was against fellow North Americans. In a wonderfully close battle, Spacestation Gaming defeated Shopify Rebellion.
Team Secret is the only team in the semifinals of the R6 Esports World Cup 2025 that went through the Groups with no losses. Their quarterfinal opponents were Weibo Gaming, and Secret won in quite a dominant way.
The winners of these matches play in the grand final of the R6 Esports World Cup 2025 on the next day, Aug. 8. The losers battle for third place.
