Ashika Island is the new Resurgence map, bringing chaotic, close combat to the battle royale. Here is the best Ashika Island loadout.

Ashika Island is a new map in Warzone 2 created specifically with the chaotic action of Resurgence mode in mind. Due to the fast-paced, close-quarters combat of Resurgence, Warzone players are racing to find the best loadout for Ashika Island.

Resurgence mode is a smaller version of the usual battle royale mode, featuring 40 players dropping in instead of the usual 150. On Ashika Island, a smaller map than Al Mazrah, players can be respawned if at least one teammate is still alive instead of fighting for survival in the Gulag.

Each death increases your respawn delay. This time also increases with each circle but it can be reduced if you eliminate opponents. Basically, you’re encouraged to engage with the enemy, making it a very aggressive game mode, so your loadout is incredibly important.

Best Ashika Island loadout in Warzone 2 Season 2

Ashika Islandis a vibrant and versatile map where you may get into a gunfight at any moment. For this reason, you’ll want a close range and long range weapon by your side.

For a marksman rifle, the TAQ-56 is a great choice. It deals massive damage from mid-range and has exceptional movement and reload speed. The RPK is another good choice — and is a bit more stable from long-range — and you’ll often see people debate the two weapons on Reddit. But the TAQ-56 is a better weapon for beginners.

When it comes to close-range combat, the Lachmann Sub is generally undisputed. It’s considered the best SMG in the game, so you’ll definitely want this by your side when you are in a close-range gunfight where speed and accuracy make all the difference.
