There’s no doubt that the latest Nintendo Direct dedicated toSuper Smash Bros. Ultimatewas chock full of fresh information regarding the forthcoming Switch release, especially with the base game’s final roster members,Incineroar and Ken, having now been confirmed. In addition to this, the Big N also used the live stream to announce that the Ridley amiibo will be launched alongside the title come December.

According to Nintendo, not only will the Ridley amiibo be available atSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate’s launch, but also the company will be putting out its Inkling and Wolf amiibo figures upon the fighting game’s launch. Additionally, the Big N announced that three more amiibo will be coming in February of next year, while five others are set to release at later on in 2019.

OnceSuper Smash Bros. Ultimatehas been available for two months, Nintendo will be releasing amiibo forKing K. Rooland Ice Climbers on June 30, 2025, while the surprise free DLC fighter, Piranha Plant, will also get its own amiibo on the same date. What’s more is that amiibo figures for Isabelle, Pichu, Ken, Young Link, and Daisy will all come out later in 2019, but it’s currently unclear if they will come out individually or all together on a single date.

All things considered, amiibo collectors will likely be excited to learn of all the fresh figures that they will be able to snag onceSuper Smash Bros. Ultimatefinally comes out next month. And with Nintendo having revealed that there will be a new amiibo for every new fighter, it’s safe for fans to expect that Incineroar will eventually get its own figure, too, as well as all of the roster members that will be coming to the game through its Season Pass. That said, though, we will simply have to wait and see what transpires for these characters when it comes to all potential amiibo.
