Charlie Heaton Will Star In Netflix’s New Supernatural Limited Series
It Follows A Sea Creature That Terrorizes A Small Coastal Canadian Town
AfterStranger Thingscomes to an end with its fifth and final seasonin Fall 2025, Charlie Heaton will star in another Netflix supernatural series, which currently remains untitled. It will be McKeown’s first project sinceThe Umbrella Academyconcludedafter its fourth season in August 2024.
Both Netflix and McKeown are keeping plot details for their new supernatural series under wraps at this time. The show, however, sounds fundamentally inspired by the classic Spielberg movieJaws, in whicha menacing sea creature terrorizes a small town and community.
Since so little information is available at this time about Charlie Heaton’s next project afterStranger Thingsends, it’s impossible to know exactly what role he will play in it. That said,Heaton will likely either play a relative or a person who lives in the same remote townas Hartnett and Davis’s characters.
The untitled limited series, which wasoriginally announced in February 2025, is set to be only six episodes long. This suggests that it will not be in a position to become another flagship franchise for Netflix likeStranger Things. Nevertheless, the acting combination of Heaton, Hartnett, and Davis is incredibly promising at face value.
