Everyone’s favvvvvvvorite fighter, right?!
It’s time for another hugeSuper Smash Bros. Ultimatepatch, and 7.0 is finally upon us following a Sakurai Direct tease recently.
You can findFire Emblem: Three Housesspirits haunting the game now, as well as a bunch ofTetrisblocks.Newcomer Byleth, the fifth and final entry in the first Fighter’s Pass (there’s a second one now!) is also available, as are theCuphead, Assassin’s Creed, RabbidsandMega ManMii outfits. Note that 7.0 isn’t nearly as monumental as some other DLC patches: there’s no big new mode to test out this time.
You can find all of the non-balance patch notes below. The fighter changelog is a doozy, so you can check out the full list of alterationshere. The big changes include buffs for Samus and Dark Samus, a bit of give and take for Sheik, huge buffs for Zelda, buffs for Dr. Mario, Palutena, Ryu, Ken, Cloud, Toon Link and Young Link. Joker (who has been dominating in many circles) got a few minor nerfs.
Hopefully some of these buffs are enough to change up the meta a bit.
