Skull and Bones is officially arriving on Steam, letting pirates set sail on the Indian Ocean come August 22.

Ubisoft’s pirating MMO known as Skull and Bones had a successful launch and maintains a hardcore, dedicated player base. In hopes of expanding that player base, Skull and Bones now comes to Steam in August.

This isn’t the first Ubisoft title to move itself from Ubisoft Connect over to Steam or the Epic Games Store, but it is a big decision to try and get more pirates out on the Indian Ocean.

Skull and Bones finally comes to Steam on August 22

August 21, 2025 is the day Skull and Bones arrives on Steam. This is near the start of the game’s third season. Afterthe Hubac Twinshave been bested, a new threat will arrive in the region and new players will be there to help.

As of right now, the game is available on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as well as PC through Ubisoft Connect. The developer is opening the door for additional players who might have shied away from the title due to not being on Steam.

Steam is a massive platform where the majority of PC gamers get their fix. It only makes sense for Skull and Bones to launch there alongside a new season, so anypotential new piratescan jump dive into the content update.

How to wishlist Skull and Bones on Steam

Ubisoft has pointed out that you may now wishlist Skull and Bones on Steam. This puts it into your list of games you want to keep tabs on.

Here’s how to do so:

If you aren’t going to make a calendar event in your phone for the launch, wishlisting is a great way to be told a game is out. You’ll receive an email and can head right to the game’s Steam page to purchase it from your wishlist.
