“I can’t wait to everyone to see it,” she added of the suit.

Gunn, 57, shared the firstphoto of the casttogether to Instagram on Thursday, captioning it, “After the table read with the#Supermancast.”

“Eve, Mr. Terrific, Superman/Clark, Otis, Lex, producer Peter Safran, Jimmy, Metamorpho, Lois, Hawkgirl, me, Guy, The Engineer all together for the first time! What a wonderful day,” he added.

Gunn confirmed the casting of Corenswet, 30, and Brosnahan on X (formerly known as Twitter) in June 2023,writing, “Accurate! (They are not only both incredible actors, but also wonderful people).”

Brosnahan hadaddressed casting rumorsthe previous month when asked about them onThe View,saying she would be excited to have the chance to play Lois.

“It would be extraordinary,” shesaid at the time. “I grew up watching Lois Lane, this incredibly talented journalist who is far from a damsel in destress. And I would jump at the chance if it arose.”

The 30th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards are currently streaming live on Netflix, from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles.
