Big changes in Siege X

The release of Rainbow Six Siege X introduces modernized versions of five maps: Bank, Clubhouse, Kafe, Border, and Chalet. They receive more details, lighting, and high resolution. Every new season should bring other improved R6 maps.

One of the key features of R6 is destructible elements. With Siege X, there will be more such objects on the game maps: for example, gas pipes and fire distinguishers.

New movement tricks will allow players to reach unusual spots. The communication wheel is in the game to share quick callouts with teammates. The competitive aspect becomes more intense thanks to the new pick-ban system.

Siege X Operators: Remasters, balance updates, and new characters

In Season 2 of Rainbow Six Siege X Year 10, one of the Operators gets significantly remastered —Clash. She is the first-ever Defender with a shield, and the girl can now put the thing on the ground. Clash’s shield shoots electricity around itself to slow down opponents and make them easier targets.

To make this remastered version of Clash not too broken, the developers change how electricity works in R6 Siege. It affects the movement but doesn’t deal damage. It sure deactivates all the gadgets.

The deployed electric shield can be easily destroyed with explosives or by pushing it away at close range.
