The 2021 competitive PUBG Mobile is finally coming to an end with the Global Championship Grand Finals. Sixteen of the best teams from across the globe will compete in one final event with the hopes of winning the sweet $1.5million prize pool. Esports.gg will bring you everything there is to know about the event, including the participants, the tournament format, the prize pool and much more.
Which teams will be competing in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship?
Sixteen teams from across the globe will be competing at this end-of-season event. The qualified teams are the winner of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021, the top nine east league teams and the top six west league teams.

What is the prize pool for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship?
The prize pool for the Grand Finals will be an incredible $3,490,000 USD. This is a prize pool that rivals some of the biggest esports competitions in the world, showcasing how big mobile esports is in the east. Here is how this large prize pool is distributed amongst the teams. At the time of writing only the prize pool for the top three teams has been revealed.
This event will be an online event mostly due to COVID concerns. Some teams will fly out to Singapore to reduce any disadvantage due to high ping. Some other teams will move to Dubai, including India’s sole representative in GodLike esports.
Why is GodLike esports participating in the Global Finals?
GodLike esports finished 4th in the BGIS Finals, India. The team placed behind Skylightz Gaming, TSM and Team XO. According to the initial announcement, the spot for the PUBGM Global Championship would go to the winners of the BGIS 2021. However, there were a few conditions, which the top three teams failed to meet. Players were required to have vaccination certificates, a negative COVID test and valid passports (at least six months validity). With players from the first three teams unable to furnish these documents, GodLike esports got a chance to represent India on the global stage.
