Humanityis a bizarre action/puzzle gamewhere players take on the role of a glowing dog that leads massive hordes of people through dangerous stages.Humanityhas over 90 levels on deck for players to try come launch, but it will also have user-generated content on top of that, which is why the developers want to launch as a day one PS Plus Extra game on May 16. Doing so will ensure thatHumanityhas a large player base right out of the gate, which will mean more people will potentially create content to share with others, in turn giving the game more longevity.

Something convenient aboutHumanityis that it will be available across PS4 and PS5 consoles, so one doesn’t need to have upgraded to Sony’s newest console to check it out through their PS Plus Extra subscription. Not only that, butHumanityhas virtual reality support for both generations of headsets.Humanity’s VR mode is optional, but it’s supported by both the original PlayStation VR and thePlayStation VR2.

Humanityis the only new PS Plus Extra game confirmed for May 2023 right now, but that will almost certainly change in the weeks ahead. It’s highly likely that the week preceding May 16 will be marked by a big announcement from Sony where the rest of the newPS Plus Extra and Premium gamesare confirmed. It’s anyone’s guess as to what those games could be, but fans can expect a mix of newer titles and classic games.
