Are the Unova Tour Ticket add-ons worth it?

A big decision for Unova Tour players heading to Los Angeles is about the optional extras on top of your ticket. There is the Raid Lover and Egg-thusiast add-on, and also the option to purchase additional ‘City Experience’ days.

Most Trainers have probably already decided on these add-ons. However, for those of you still making up your mind here are the important things to consider.

Both the add-ons become significantly better value if you choose to play additional City Experience days. For those of you playing Friday, Saturday and Sunday you really should consider purchasing the add ons if you can afford it. The additional bonuses, specifically Stardust from Eggs and XL candy from Raids are incredibly valuable resources.

For the Egg-thusiast add-on, you will need to consider how many Incubators you have. The 3x Stardust bonus means you’re able to really rack up the Stardust across the event. However, if you don’t have (or won’t buy) the Incubators you need to make the most of this.

The Raid Lover add-on provides additional Raid Passes every day. This is in addition to XP and candy bonuses. What is important to consider here is how many Raids you will likely do. They are the main component of an in-person event, with the exciting new Black and White Kyurem fusions in Raids. The cost of the add-on is cheaper than just buying the Raid Passes directly, and has candy bonuses.

So, if you plan to do Raids, even for just the Park Day, this add-on almost certainly represents value for money.
