Frontier Development (the developer behindPlanet CoasterandJurassic World Evolution) has announced thatPlanet Zoowill be its next project. Continuing the trend of resurrecting our childhood past times, this latest title will be another management sim, just in the vein ofZoo Tycooninstead ofRollerCoaster Tycoon. The title is scheduled for a Fall 2019 release on PC.
Planet Zoois said to have “the most authentic animals in videogame history.” Apparently, each animal will be an individual with its own thoughts and feelings that wants to explore the pens you build for them. Players will be able to nurture these creatures throughout their entire lives, helping them grow from wild beasts into disciplined friends. You’ll even be able to breed the animals and pass their traits onto new generations, creating a self-sustaining circle of life for your park.
