Since it was first revealed in June 2021,Planet of Lanahas caught the attention of gamersfor many reasons, such as its beautiful art style and touching music. Developed by Wishfully and published by Thunderful,Planet of Lanaputs players in control of a young girl in a game that is described as a “cinematic puzzle adventure.” As seen in the trailers for the game, players will face many dangerous foes during their journey, but they do not have to go alone, as they are accompanied by an adorable cat companion. Recently, gamers learned some new details about the future release ofPlanet of Lana.

While this recent tweet from the official Twitter account forPlanet of Lanawas exciting for those wanting to check out the game, there was some disappointing news from the developer as well. Specifically, gamers will have to wait a little longer to purchase the game. According to an update from the developer, the release date had been pushed back to Spring 2023. However, the update also noted that a playable demo was coming to Gamescom 2022, giving fans in attendance a chance to check the game out for themselves.
In addition, the developers shared a brief trailer with fans. In the video, players could see theyoung girl fromPlanet of Lanaand her cattraversing through several unique environments, such as a forest and a desert. In addition, a number of robotic enemies and a grotesque monster with many eyes were seen. While much of the footage was seen before, it nonetheless gave fans a reason to get excited about the title that was eventually coming to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
