The final Dota 2 Major of the 2021/2022 Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) has begun. The PGL Arlington Major is the most important event that will massively determine which teams qualify for The International 11. With a huge prize on the line, teams will be going to this Major with a do-or-die performance. If you want to tune in to your favorite teams in this Major, we have laid out a detailed schedule for you. We will also update this article with live results so stay tuned!

Before we get into the schedule and results, here is a quick preview of the tournament.

When is the PGL Arlington Major starting?

The Major is starting on August 4th and will last until August 14th.

What is the prize pool and DPC points distribution?

The prize pool for the PGL Arlington Major is $500,000 USD, the same as all Dota 2 Majors this season. The prize pool distribution also follows the previous Majors with only the top 8 rewarded with prize money. Meanwhile, the DPC points are larger compared to the previous events due to it taking place closer to TI11. It is also only rewarded to the top 8 of the tournament.

Who is going to the Arlington Major?

Initially,a total of 18 teamsqualified for the Arlington Major. However, after a wave of VISA issues wreaked havoc among the pro teams, one affected team decided to not attend the Major. Xtreme Gaming will leave one slot empty in this event, making it 17 overall teams at the Arlington Major. With a total of 8 teams affected, this would possibly be the most flawed Major in terms of player roster.

OG’s Russian members have been unable to obtain visas to travel to Arlington. Ceb will stand-in for the missing OG captain.

PGL Arlington Major: Group Stage

As usual, the Group Stage will be a continuous bloodbath. Four series will happen simultaneously and they will be broadcasted on four different Twitch channels:Stream A,Stream B,Stream C, andStream D. All matches will be a Best-of-2 [BO2]. Group Stage Final Standings

Here is the final standings of the PGL Arlington Major Group Stage. The top 4 of each group head to the Upper Bracket. Meanwhile, the 5th - 6th rank go to the Lower Bracket. The bottom 3 of Group A and Group B: Talon Esports, Thunder Awaken, Soniqs, NAVI and Tundra Esports are eliminated.

After a brutal group stage, Tundra, Na’Vi, Soniqs, Thunder Awaken, and Talon have all been eliminated from the Arlington Major.
