Overwatch 2 extends Junkenstein’s Laboratory game mode
Originally set to run between Oct. 15 and Nov. 5, the Junkenstein’s Laboratory game mode and other Halloween Terror options now end on Nov. 12 instead. This means players can continue testing out different mutation combinations in Junkenstein’s Laboratory, challenging themselves inWrath of the Bride, and clearing waves of zombie omnics inJunkenstein’s Revenge.
“Quick update on Junkenstein’s Lab. The event has been incredibly popular!” Overwatch 2 game director Aaron Kellerrevealed on X. “Two weeks after launch, 15% of our daily players are still jumping into the mode. To help support it, we’re going to put out a small balance patch for it tomorrow. Have fun!”

Overwatch 2 Halloween event challenges and rewards
This extension also means more time to complete all of the Overwatch 2 Halloween Terror challenges if you haven’t done so already. There are six challenges in total, and the rewards include lots of Season 13 Battle Pass XP plus the Mutated Monster player title.
