A landmark collaboration in Malaysian MLBB Esports

OG’s entry into MLBB marks a significant moment for the game’s esports ecosystem. The org is widely popular for being the first team in the game’s history to win back-to-back world championships in Ti 2018 and TI 2019. As mobile esports continues to rise in popularity, OG is now expanding its influence into mobile esports.

“We are incredibly excited to embark on this strategic partnership with OG Esports,“said Simon Lim, Team Director of SRG, through a press release.“This collaboration represents a significant milestone for SRG, allowing us to leverage OG’s global expertise and resources to elevate our MLBB team and expand our reach globally. We are confident that this partnership will bring immense value to our fans and the broader esports community.”

MPL PH: TNC Yawi hints that his longtime mentor Dogie might be stepping away from esports

TNC Pro Team Yawi thinks Dogie may be moving on outside of esports and is looking to end the MPL PH Season 15 on a high note.

By partnering with SRG, OG is making a calculated move into a scene that regional MLBB powerhouses like Indonesia and the Philippines have dominated. This is because the esports org might have the key to cracking the code on what makes these two powerhouses nearly untouchable.

SRG had their major break during the MLBB Mid-Season Cup (MSC) 2024. They became the first Malaysian team to win an international MLBB title. The team is also known for their steady performance at MPL Malaysia. They won a back-to-back championship title in the local league. Needless to say, SRG has built a reputation as one of the most promising teams in the region.

OG joins the mobile esports hype

Aside from the SRG.OG partnership in MLBB, the org has also announced their entry to other mobile esports titles. Back on August 09, 2025, the esports organization announced that it would be joining the Honor of Kings esports ecosystem.
