DreamHack Dallas is only a few weeks away. Many gamers are already gearing up to compete in their favorite title. Those who are big Mortal Kombat 1 fans will be delighted to know that the game is having its very own LAN event at DreamHack Dallas.
Signing up is quite easy. For those looking to make the trip to Dallas (or if you already live there), all you have to do is visit their website.
Hurry, though, because spots are limited.

What system will the tournament be played on?
Announced via their website. DreamHack confirmed that the systems used for the Mortal Kombat 1 tournament are PS5. Make sure you get brushed up on your PS5 controller techniques.

When does the tournament take place?
The Mortal Kombat 1 tournament at DreamHack Dallas is going to be a short one, so come prepared. The open pools begin at 4:00 p.m. CST on Friday, Aug 22, 2025.
The open pools will only last two hours and the top eight will begin fighting at 6 p.m. CST.
Pretty quick turnaround, huh? That’s why you need to get signed up ASAP.

How big is the prize pool?
PS5s and controllers will be provided for those coming to compete. Sadly, DreamHack’s website does not state the actual prize pool split.
