Ahead of Nicolas Cage’s debut as the live-action version ofSpider-ManNoir,Marvel Comics is bringing the iconic Webslinger variant back in a new series, and the book will have an absolute legend at the helm: Erik Larsen.The visionary creator will write the upcoming five-issue series, putting his proprietary spin on the breakout hit character.
As reported by CBR,Spider-Man: Noir#1, written by Erik Larson, with art by Andrea Broccardo, willfeature the 1930s throwback version of the hero investigating the murder of George Stacy, Gwen’s father.
The newNoircomic series is set to whet fans’ appetites for the character, ahead of the release of Nic Cage’sSpider-NoirTV series, comingin 2026.
