Maren Morrisand Ryan Hurd shut down the2022 ACM Awardswith their matching outfits.
The couple coordinated in brown hues, with Hurd saying on the carpet that it’s “all Maren” who sets the tone for their looks.
“year 2000@diorfor your yeehaw,” shecaptioned a gallery of photos on Instagram.
Hurd got the matching memo, complementing his wife in a brown, double-breasted Paul Smith satin suit.
For Morris' ACM glam moment,makeup artist Mary Phillipscreated a “2000s inspired look,” with glossy lips, glowy skin and a warm smoky eye.
“I wanted to naturally enhance her features with warmth, dimension and glow,” Phillips told PEOPLE. “My favorite part of Maren’s look was how striking her eyes were. I used a gorgeous range of Hourglass products to bring out the warmth in her natural brown.”
To create her eye look, Phillips usedHourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in “At Night"as a base, to “warm them up.” She then blended several matte warm brown tones — “Foe,” “Opt” and “Arc” — from theHourglass Curator Eyeshadow collection. She topped off the look withHourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadow in the shade “Rapture.”
“The result was a diffused warm brown maroon smokey eye with dimension and definition,” Phillips said.
The overallMVP product was Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Powderin “Incandescent,” which left her skin “glistening.”
Last year, Morris told PEOPLE that she and Hurd like to coordinate and consult with each other and their stylists (Hurd works withKrista Roser) before red carpet events.

“We definitely try to coordinate, but not full on Justin and Britney denim VMA looks,” she quipped. Maybe one day, but so far, we’re just trying to be complementary to each other, but not walk all over each other.”

She added: “I definitely feel like he could wear a paper sack and look really hot. So he’s lucky in that regard.”

Morris and Hurd are the first couple to be nominated for ACMs in the same year since Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Morris is nominated for Female Artist of the Year, while Hurd was nominated for New Male Artist of the Year.
“I mean I would never compare us to them ‘cause, it’s Tim and Faith, but yeah, it’s so cool,” MorristoldEntertainment Tonightwhen asked about the honor.
“It just feels like we’re getting to do the ACMs for real again, because the last two years have been COVID, so, it’s nice to be back in Vegas,” she added. “It’s gonna be fun. The stadium is beautiful, it’s big, so, it’s gonna be a first time for everything on this one.”
While the couple doesn’t have any duets on the docked right now, Morris also toldETthat Hurd is “all over” her upcoming album,Humble Quest.
“Maybe we’ll do another duet someday, but he actually is all over my album,” she shared. “He is singing and writing all the songs. It kinda feels like in any capacity, we’re gonna be collaborating, no matter what, and you know, we’re married and have a child.”
