As of Sept. 27, just a few days into the LoL Worlds 2024 Play-In Stage, the tournament peaked at over 1.38 million viewers. According toEsports Charts, the event also racked up 14.93 million hours watched — with just over 15 hours of airtime.
While Day 1 of the Play-In Stage kicked off with over 1.32 million peak viewers thanks to thePSG Talon (PSG) versus paiN Gaming (PNG)match alongside the games betweenMAD Lions KOI (MDK) and Vikings Esports (VKE), Day 2 showcased the dedication of the Vietnamese audience.
TheGAM Esports (GAM) versus Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS (SHG)match, in particular, drew over 1.15 million peak viewers. Asian audiences, particularly Vietnamese viewers, along with Chinese, Korean, and Japanese fans, contributed about 56.3% of Day 2’s total peak viewership,Esports Charts revealed.
