Liam Gallagherhas shared his thoughts on theRock & Roll Hall of Fame.
AfterOasisreceived a nomination for the 2025 ceremony, the “Wall of Glass” performer, 52,took to Xon Wednesday, Feb. 12 to comment on the honor.
“RNR hall of fame is for WANKERS,” Gallagher wrote on the platform of the annual induction ceremony.
On Wednesday, Feb. 12, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation revealed the list of 14 performers who will be considered for induction in the class of 2025.
Also nominated wereCyndi Lauper, Maná,OutKast, Phish, Soundgarden, The White Stripes and Oasis.
“These remarkable Nominees have each created their own musical style and attitude impacting generations of music lovers and contributing to the ever evolving sounds and continued growth of rock & roll," John Skyes, Chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation said in a press release.
Artists and bands are eligible for a nomination 25 years after releasing their first commercial recording, according to the release.
In late April, the performer inductees will be revealed. This year’s ceremony is slated to take place in Los Angeles in the fall — with exact dates and ticket sale details to be announced soon.
The 2024 inductees includedMary J. Blige,Cher,Dave MatthewsBand, Foreigner,Peter Frampton, Kool & the Gang,Ozzy Osbourneand A Tribe Called Quest.
Additionally, the late Alexis Korner, John Mayall and the late Big Mama Thornton received the musical influence award, whilethe late Jimmy Buffett, MC5, Dionne Warwick and the late Norman Whitfield received the musical excellence award. Suzanne de Passe received the Ahmet Ertegun award.In August 2024, Oasis announcedtheir first tournearly 15 years since they famously broke up in 2009 after reportedly having an argument backstage at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

Oasis is set to perform multiple stadium dates across the U.K. and Ireland this summer and will also play a handful ofhighly-anticipated shows in the U.S., Canada and Mexicoin the late summer and fall.
