Josh Radnorand wife Jordana Jacobs’weddingunexpectedly turned into a sleepover!
Despite the forecast, the couple’s loved ones rallied and gathered together for the wedding, where they braved the cold to watch Radnor and Jacobs exchange vows as snow fell around them.

After the snowy outdoors ceremony, Radnor had to dry Jacobs' feet with a blow dryer before the reception. And although 115 guests had planned to stay at the venue’s cabins overnight, the more than 50 other guests were nervously checking their phones for weather updates as they partied.
“Energetically, in the room, we could feel the stress,” Jacobs toldThe New York Times.
At 10:30 p.m. that night, a member of the venue staff announced that the snow and icy conditions had made it impossible to drive and everyone had to stay overnight — including the 10-person wedding band, event planners and venue staff.
“Once it was announced, ‘No one is leaving here tonight,’ people went into a little bit of surrender mode,” Radnor recalled to the outlet. The band reportedly played The Beatles song “Oh! Darling,” and everyone danced and let their stress melt away.
Pamela Fryman,HIMYM’sdirector, joked toThe New York Times, “When they renew their vows, maybe they can do it in the spring.”

Radnor and Jacobs first met at a sound meditation retreat in February 2022, and the actor eventually moved from Los Angeles to Brooklyn to live with his love. He’s also a musician, and revealed that he was getting married during a live show in New York City in November after he played a song called “Brooklyn Girl,” presumably about Jacobs.
The couple toldThe New York Timesthat the unexpected all-night party at their wedding felt like the right way to celebrate their love. “It was about as analogous toa psychedelic ceremonyas you can get,” Jacobs said.
Inan Instagram postabout the day, theFleishman Is in Troublestar wrote, “I got married! Two weeks ago. In a light blizzard.”
