Bethesda not only announcedElder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, but also formally confirmed that the game is a day-one Xbox Game Pass release title. Essentially, this means thatmembers of the Microsoft subscription service will be able to download and play the remastered title as early as players who purchased it individually, without having to pay any other fees other than what they already do. This is one of the main reasons behind theXbox Game Pass price increasethat occurred last year.

Because of the game’s surprise release this Tuesday, April 22, the game is already available on all major platforms – including within the Xbox Game Pass catalog. As such,players can already access the game’s page on the subscription service’s menu via PC or their Xbox console and download it. The title can also be played via Xbox Game Pass’s Cloud Gaming system. BecauseThe Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remasteredis now, technically, a first-person title, it’s likely that it won’t leave the Game Pass catalog anytime soon.
