It’s a chore for me to enter a few hundreds of games into myBackloggery account, and I haven’t even finished it yet. Ambitious 4chan user Data_baser iscompiling a list of every video game ever made. Way to make me feel completely and totally inadequate. Right now, the plain text document over at Pastebin lists around 44,000 games at last count, sitting at around four megabytes. Data_baser has a few versions of the same list floating around, including one that features100,000 entries, but the lesser list is alphabetized and it’s the neatest version you’re able to peruse. But don’t kneel to the Game Categorizing God just yet — he’s actually collecting established game databases such asMobyGamesand compiling them into the document you see on Pastebin, and he’s not finished. But oh, once this project is complete, it’s going to be glorious.
It’s an impressive project to be sure. Now come to my home, Data_baser, and compile a list of my thousands of games. Then plow through my backlog. Appreciate you!
