If this Zelda: Breath of the Wild flooded Hyrule concept was DLC, I’d buy it

I’ve been noodling around with the idea of replayingZelda: Breath of the Wilda third time, beyond my hard mode playthrough, but I just can’t stop messing around with my existing save files.

There’s still so much to be explored, so much I left untamed so that I can spend some free time in Hyrule. While the idea of an expanded story via DLC later this year does intrigue me, this concept art from a fan is a far more interesting proposition.

Here, they re-imagine the entire world of Hyrule as a flooded kingdom, bringing our most treasuredWind Wakermemories to mind. But it’s more than just a fleeting idea — the actual layout looks like something I’d want to explore and craft makeshift boats for. It’s likeBreath of the Wild‘s own Cataclysm, a laWorld of Warcraft(and a tropeZeldagames have been doing for years).
