I haven’t played a skateboarding game sinceTony Hawk Underground. Mostly because I couldn’t get behind the move away from arcade-style gameplay into a more open-world design focus. But I became so soured on the genre as a result that I lost all taste for it.
Watching this new trailer forShaun White Skateboardingis bringing back some of that lust I used to feel forTony Hawkgames. For what it’s worth,Ben Perleethinks the title has potential. I think I’m in that camp, technicolor skateboard and all. It just looks like fun, which is all I’ve ever wanted anyway.
