Friendsmay have ended nearly 20 years ago, but its legacy lives on.
Though viewers of the sitcom — which premiered in 1994 and ended in 2004 — have been rewatching episodes since the show’s conclusion, Perry abstained from doing so, explaining hedidn’t like to see himself on the screen.
However, he added he was open to rewatching since more time had passed, given the “incredible” experience he had filming with costarsJennifer Aniston,Courteney Cox,David Schwimmer,Matt LeBlancandLisa Kudrow.
AfterFriendswrapped, the show found a spinoff inJoey,which followed the life of LeBlanc’s Joey Tribbiani as he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career.Joeyran for two seasons before it ended in 2006. The cast also reunited in 2021 for a reunion special on Max.

Various cable channels often run episodes of the beloved show throughout the day, but on Oct. 30, 2023, TBS announced it would air the “Best of Chandler” episodes from Nov. 1 to Nov. 5, perVariety.
The marathon will start with episodes focused on Chandler and Joey’s friendship and then move into Chandler and Monica’s relationship, with encores continuing later in the week.

The cast of friends came together onscreen in May 2021 for a special reunion episode, which aired on HBO and streamed on Max. The nearly 2-hour special followed the six stars as they returned to the original soundstage and reminisced on their best memories from filming the show.
