A Saurian’s Lover’s Ordinary Days is one of the 10 sub-quests of the In the Footsteps of the Chosen of Dragons world quests. This quest arrived with the newest version of Genshin Impact. Like the other sub-quests, this one does not have any prior requirements. You only have to reach Natlan. To start the quest, you must teleport to theStatue of the Sevenin the Stadium of the Sacred Flame and then head southeast towards a waterfall close to the Scions of the Canopy area.

At the end of the waterfall, there’s a man surrounded by three Saurians. Help him out to start the quest. Once you begin, a scream occurs and the man lies down on the ground. He is okay? If you attempt to get close, the Saurians don’t let you do so. Therefore, you must search for some clues to understand what’s going on.
On the other side of the waterfall, your little friend Tepetlisaurus finds something in what seems to be a camping site. There, you’re able to find a diary with the names of all the Saurians involved and their favorite meal. After retrieving the Fresh Sour Sauce Kipper dish next to the bonfire (you cannot cook this recipe yet), you must place it in a strategic position. That location is right under the Saurian’s location in front of the waterfall as the image shows below.
Next, you must hide behind the trees located on the left side of the Saurians. They will be attracted by the smell of the food, giving you space to reach the man. While your little friend is distracting the Yumkasaurus, you’re able to negotiate with the Tepetlisaurus named Marigold. It won’t be happy to see you, so now you have to fight it.
