How to play Junkenstein in Overwatch 2

You can find the Junkenstein game modes in Overwatch 2’s “Arcade” menu. To access it, press the “Play” button in the main menu, select “Arcade,” and choose “Junkenstein Modes.” Next, you’ll see a bunch of different game modes that are here for a limited time.

Overwatch 2 Junkenstein game modes

The 2023 Junkenstein game modes include Junkenstein’s Revenge, Junkenstein Endless, and Challenge Missions. Junkenstein’s Revenge and Junkenstein Endless have the Normal, Hard, Expert, and Legendary difficulties.

How to play Junkenstein’s Revenge in Overwatch 2

Junkenstein’s Revenge is a co-op mode that involves four players. You can play as Ana, Brigitte, Genji, Hanzo, Cassidy, Soldier: 76, Torbjorn, Tracer, Widowmaker, and Zenyatta. Take down the waves of zombie omnics, the bosses, and Junkenstein himself to claim victory.

Junkenstein Endless game mode

Much like Junkenstein’s Revenge, Junkenstein Endless involves four players. The available heroes are Ana, Brigitte, Genji, Hanzo, Cassidy, Soldier: 76, Torbjorn, Tracer, Widowmaker, and Zenyatta. Survive 12 waves of enemies to complete the Endless Night Began challenge.

How to play Junkenstein Challenge Missions

The Junkenstein Challenge Missions Challenge Missions mode includes Vengeful Ghost, Frenzied Stampede, Three They Were, Shocking Surprise, Volatile Zomnics, and Mystery Swap. In these game modes, your team must fight waves of zombie omnics and enemies such as Reaper, Roadhog, Symmetra, Junkrat, and Mercy.

Junkenstein Vengeful Ghost

Vengeful Ghost requires your team to defeat Junkenstein’s forces while avoiding Sigma. If Sigma gets too close to a player, then he chips away at the player’s health total.

Junkenstein Frenzied Stampede

In Frenzied Stampede, the zombie omnics move faster than normal. Defeat them before they get close to the castle door.

Junkenstein Three They Were

Instead of four players in total, the Three They Were game mode involves three players only. However, these players deal more damage.

Junkenstein Shocking Surprise

In Shocking Surprise, some enemies spawn Junkrat’s Shock-Tires upon death. Eliminate these before they reach you and your teammates.

Junkenstein Mystery Swap

Mystery Swap periodically randomizes heroes. For example, if you start the game with one hero, then the game automatically switches your hero throughout the game.

Junkenstein Volatile Zomnics

Volatile Zomnics features enemies that explode near players. Therefore, keep your distance while taking these down.

Rewards include special voice lines, name cards, and more.
