Besides the Pokémon and Energy Zones, the Trainers are one of the most beneficial cards in the game. These abilities provide more support, offering some handy features that may give you the upper hand in battle. Here’s how to get free Trainer cards inPokémon TCG Pocket.

You can get free Trainer cards by completing challenges in theFor Advanced Playerssection. Unlock this feature by completing the following steps inPokémon TCG Pocket:
The Battle Hub is the primary place to farm some free Trainer cards. You’ll get familiar with it through the For New Players objectives, guiding you throughPokémon’sfamous showdowns. Earn variousPack Hourglasseswith each task completion, giving you more opportunities to open other packs.

You’ll then unlock the For Advanced Players section directly below the New Players tutorial area.
Fortunately, it’s pretty easy to conquer these objectives, and you may even complete the whole thing in under 10 minutes. Just follow the guide the game provides you, and you’ll get some Trainer cards instantly. These cards can take on two roles: Item or Supporters. Items apply a specific healing remedy, buff to your Pokémon, or an opponent disadvantage, while Supporter gives you abilities like drawing two more cards. Supporters also have a distinct restriction of only using their skills once every turn.
