Scream Queens direct a break last hebdomad ( thanks , baseball ) , and we scarce escape it . Its return to the air , “ mind of Young girl , ” yielded one huge clue that moved the show ’s central mystery forwards , a few juicy Jamie Lee Curtis scenes , and a whole lotta hot air . Ok , this is n’t a spoiler . Chanel Number Two , play by Ariana Grande , die in the pilot , which in the show ’s timeline was apparently yesterday . I intend , search how well - continue she is ! Anyway , the Kappas host her funeral , with open - coffin musing by each role in a panorama that cheerfully rips off Heathers . Chanel Oberlin delivers the eulogy , consult to her at rest sister as a “ dumb utter prostitute ” and a “ stupid little trollop . ”

Seems a few long time prior , her husband ( the schooltime ’s “ Beatles 101 professor ” ) , shine for one of his bookman , Feather ( Tavi Gevinson ) , who was a Kappa sister . When Grace and Pete go after down Feather — via a tip from Gigi … we ’ll get to that — she spills all . Yes , she broke up Dean Munsch ’s marriage . Yes , she ’s still with her much , much older dandy . Of of course , anytime someone gets ANYWHERE in moving the Red Devil case onward , something happens to ensure Scream Queens will be able to affirm its tissue - thin narration through 15 episodes . ( We ’re only on episode seven . ) After Feather enunciate she ’ll run out all the gory details about Munsch to Woodward and Bernstein , she goes home to her Beatles Professor BF only to find him theatrically chopped up throughout the mansion , with a trail of descent literally repoint to the bedroom … where his head word rests in the Pisces tank .
The cops have one and only suspect , and by the magic of television Dean Munsch is whisk off to a genial infirmary without further investigation , a trial , etc . But though asylum life sentence is pretty sweet , she has bare business to attend to : enlisting a too - dense - to - know - better grace of God and Pete into “ expose ” her hubby ’s real Orcinus orca . Feather ! Feather has no motif , but she ’s obsessed with Bologna sausage ( in an protracted joke I just do n’t have the energy to explain ) and a Bologna sausage sandwich with her DNA on it was at the offence scene . It ’s too gross , but it ’s salutary enough , and Dean Munsch is free while a sob Feather is choke up in a drinking glass cellphone .
It ’s all a measured , wily artifice , of course . Ok . So we ’ve seen two Red Devils in the same place at the same sentence , but now it seems that the liquidator are in reality a trio : whoever ’s in the two costume , plus Gigi call the shots . Who are the two ? Boone ? Pete ? Dean Munsch again ? Chanel Number Six ? ( Gigi excuse the phone call by as “ phratry drama . ” )
Also swing intemperately in the air : why did Gigi hint Pete and Grace off about Feather ? Is Gigi ’s bad - manner obsession a deliberate distraction from what she ’s really up to ? ( Duh . ) And whyyyyy did Dean Munsch tell Grace she ’d have to waitress a workweek before she spilled the filth on what happened to that goddamn can baby ? Well , I know the answer to the last one , at least the “ why ” part . Guess I ca n’t quit you yet , Scream Queens .
