Battle and zone updates
Shenmue IIIis chugging along, despite the many comments by the developers that they never got enough money to make the “true vision.” Regardless, it seems like the project is going well so far, as they’ve provided a recent update on their Kickstarter page regarding map design and posted a few combat pictures.
Some of the objects in the screens provided (like the one above) are using placeholder assets, but this is still an in-game testing build. What this basically means is that testing can begin, and the team is beyond just creating assets for the game.
Prepare to wait a while for this one, in case you forgot — it’s set for an estimated date of December 2017 on PC and PS4.
