The Hearthstone esports 2025 roadmap is here. It includes two Masters Tour Championships and the Hearthstone World Championship 2025 event.
Blizzard has announced plans for Hearthstone esports in 2025. This year’s roadmap includes two Hearthstone Masters Tour Championship events plus Hearthstone World Championship 2025. It also features new Open Qualifier tournaments, Masters Tour Playoff events, and more.
Hearthstone esports 2025 roadmap
This year, there will be three Hearthstone qualification periods. The first couple of qualification periods will lead into the third one. The overall goal will be a coveted spot in the 16-player Hearthstone World Championship 2025 tournament.

How to compete in Hearthstone esports
There will be two qualification pathways for Hearthstone esports in 2025. The first option will be through the ranked Hearthstone ladder. Interested competitors will have to place in the top 100 during a qualification period to gain some competitive points.
Hearthstone Open Qualifier events
As for the second option, there will be three Open Qualifier events to duke it out in. The top 4 players who place in an Open Qualifier will advance into a Masters Tour Playoffs event. The first of these Open Qualifier events will happen between March 21 and March 23. In terms of the official rules for this year, the first published version can be foundhere.

Hearthstone Masters Tour Playoffs 2025
Speaking of the Masters Tour Playoffs, there will be three of them this year. This will be one per region. Each of these tournaments will feature 50 players with the most competitive points and players who placed in the top 4 of an Open Qualifier. The top 3 players from each Masters Tour Playoff event will advance to that specific period’s Hearthstone Masters Tour Championship.

Last Chance Qualifier tournament
After the two aforementioned Masters Tour Championships, the Last Chance Qualifier event will be a global tournament. This one will feature the top 50 earners of competitive points, the top 4 finishers from the Open Qualifiers during the Last Chance qualification period, and everyone who duked it out in a Masters Tour Championship and didn’t get into Hearthstone World Championship 2025 yet.

Hearthstone World Championship 2025
