Here are all of the event requirements, rewards, and how to unlock them!
Blizzard is celebrating Lunar New Year 2024 with some in-game freebies! These include signature cards plus hero skins for regular Hearthstone and Hearthstone Battlegrounds. Read on for all of the Hearthstone Lunar New Year event details!
Hearthstone Lunar New Year event 2024
Hearthstone’s Lunar New Year event for 2024 features the returning Lunar Blessings Tavern Brawl, emotes with fireworks, and a bunch of Event XP that you may earn. When you have enough Event XP, you can unlock in-game cosmetics such as hero skins for the regular version of the game plus Hearthstone Battlegrounds. There are also some signature cards up for grabs.
Hearthstone Lunar New Year quests
The Hearthstone Celebrations quests encourage you to play the traditional version of the game. Meanwhile, the Battlegrounds Festivities quests require playing Hearthstone Battlegrounds. For both game modes, you must complete the current Lunar New Year quest in order to progress to the next one.

The Lunar New Year 2024 rewards include two signature cards for Kobold Miner, two for Walking Mountain, and two for Howdyfin. There’s also the Lantern Stringer Galewing hero skin for Hearthstone Battlegrounds and Dragon Dance Celeste hero skin for the Mage class!
