Guy Fieri is putting on a flavortown festival in his hometown

Guy Fieriis rollin' out to Columbus, Ohio — and he’s inviting all his fans.

The Food Network star, 55, will put on the first-everFlavortown Festfrom June 1-2, 2024, PEOPLE can reveal exclusively. Though Fieri grew up in Ferndale, Calif., where he still owns a home with hiswifeandsons, the two-day event will take place in his “original hometown.”

“I was actually born in Columbus, Ohio, so one might say it’s pretty much the birthplace of Flavortown,” Fieri said in a press release, first shared with PEOPLE. “But in 2024, we’re making it official with the launch of Flavortown Fest, two full days of awesome music, the best chefs, real deal food from around the nation and a whole lotta fun that you’re gonna have to see to believe!”

“This festival will truly be the first of its kind and I couldn’t be more stoked to bring it to my original hometown,” he added.

The stacked weekend will take over The Lawn at CAS, a 54-acre campus. Tickets are on sale now starting at $155 for a two-day pass. Fans who purchase tickets before Dec. 9 will be eligible for a VIP upgrade.

Flavortown fans have been putting on their own festivals of sorts for years with"FieriCon"— which Fieri was not involved in, but saw thousands of people mimic his signature frosted tips and flame shirts in cities all over the country.

Now the official Flavortown Fest promises demos from his all-star chef friends, great food and “jaw-dropping music.” And like most things Fieri touches, there will be acharitable aspect.

A portion of proceeds from every ticket sold will support various charities in and around the Columbus area, according to the press release, with a focus on first responders and veterans.
