The Jack-O challenge involves having someone attempt to recreate Jack-O’s crouching pose. Compared to most characters in fighting games, Jack-O certainly has one of the most unique. It is unknown who exactly started the trend, but it quickly took over Twitter. Various people have been posting pictures of themselves in the pose. Artists as well have been drawing all sorts of characters doing the same.
How to do the Jack O pose?
The Jack-O pose involves the character pressing her upper body flat to the ground. She has her feet spread wide with her hips raised high into the air. The near-impossible-to-copy pose gained popularity on social media soon after the character’s release.
The trend became insanely popular in a short amount of time. At its peak, there were over 300 posts per hour featuring this hashtag. Most of them were posts with users drawing their favourite video game characters in the Jack O pose. But some included people trying out the Jack O position in real life. The hashtag has gotten so much traction that even Guilty Gear Strive’s developer, Arc System Works' official Twitter posted amemey tweetabout it.

Jack-O' Valentine is human character in Guilty Gears Strive. She is one of the three servants of That Man along with Raven and I-No. An artificial life-form Jack-O was designed to prevent the revival of Justice, the herald of destruction but often gets emotional and acts child-like.
Jack-o' managed to prevent Justice’s awakening by fusing with Aria’s soul within Justice. It was at this time Aria’s soul was fully restored within Jack-O'. Justice was created using Aria, Sol’s love interest in the past. But Aria’s consciousness is yet to be fully restored which leaves Jack-O' in an unstable state and thereby unable to function without her mask and candy.
Jack-O' Valentine joinedGuiltyGear Strive in August 2021 and has already become immensely popular in the game.
