AGenshin Impactfan has redesigned Kamisato Ayato by giving him three interesting character concepts based on different elements. This Hydro user is currently available as part of the ongoing Limited Character Banner that also features the Electro Archon, Raiden Shogun. Both characters are obtainable for two more weeks as their banner is scheduled to expire around January 18.
Ayato is the current head of the Kamisato Clan that serves the Shogunate, the entity that rules overGenshin Impact’s Inazuma region which could be one of the reasons why he was placed on the same banner as Inazuma’s Archon. He is also the older brother of another playable character, the Cryo user Kamisato Ayaka.

Reddit user Fragrant_Temporary_7 has shared three interesting character concepts that equip Ayato with Pyro, Hydro, and Anemo elemental powers. The post was well-received in the community as it reached almost 6k upvotes with many players claiming that all three elements suit the character. Even though Ayato is a Hydro user, fans still claim that the concept named Monato which has the same element is the best out of the three. Many players have stated that they could see Ayato playing the role of a mystical spellsword battle mage. Before his release, Ayato has been one of themost popularGenshin Impactcharacterssince his name was mentioned by many NPCs all over the Inazuma region.
His popularity is also proven by sales revenue reports which revealed that his double banner currently holdsthe second spot onGenshin Impact’s banner revenue list. There is a chance that the Raiden Shogun and Ayato overtake Nahida and Yoimiya in terms of overall sales considering that this banner will last a couple of days more since update 3.1 was shorter than usual.
When it comes to his power on the field,Ayato is considered an S-tier DPS characterwho can also fit the sub-DPS role due to his ability to apply the Hydro element even when he’s not on the field. Players who want to pull for Ayato should also try to get his signature sword, Haran Geppaku Futsu, which is part of the current weapon banner.
Some comments claim that they would also like to see Ayato’s Pyro Version on the roster since the last five-star Pyro character that arrived in the game wasthe bow user Yoimiya who was part of update 2.0which dropped in August 2021. Since then the game introduced only one four-star Pyro character named Thoma who is considered one of the worst supports in the game.
