Version 5.1 of Genshin Impact is coming with several gameplay optimizations. Spiral Abyss, character building, exploration, and many announcements were made during the 5.1 stream on Sept. 27. Here’s what we know so far.

Genshin Impact Spiral Abyss skip feature
Starting with the latest Lunar Phase of the Spiral Abyss on Oct. 16, you can use the new skip feature. However, there are some conditions you must meet to skip some floors in the Spiral Abyss and save some time.
If you complete the 11th floor, you’ll be able to skip the entire 9th floor on the next Spiral Abyss reset. If you complete all 12 floors, you’ll be able to skip both the 9th and 10th floors in the next reset.
Additionally, you can now open multiple Domain Reliquaries at once. The days of opening them one by one are finally over! These new optimizations of the version 5.1 lets you save more time while tackling the Spiral Abyss and collecting all of the rewards.

Artifact preferences
No more choosing artifacts over and over again every time you access the Artifact Set Filters of a specific character! Now, the game remembers your artifact preferences. you’re able to also sort by affix for an individual Artifact slot — those preferences are also saved.
Craftable amounts
Your painful math days are finally over as you no longer need to make more calculations on how much is lacking to finally build a character. That information now appears directly in your Inventory.
This feature is also getting added to the Crafting Bench, allowing you filter recipes by character ascension goals while avoiding the production of too many materials. This is available not only for character ascension, but also for talent maximization.
Limited-time area exploration rewards
Version 5.1 of Genshin Impact also gives out more Primogems to all the players dedicated to exploration andworld quests. If you reach the exploration progress milestones and complete the demanding world quests, you can earn 400 extra Primogems.
If you’ve already met these requirements in version 5.0, you’ll be able to claim these rewards as soon as the update arrives. Don’t worry if you can’t meet the requirements right away. These limited-time area exploration rewards are also available in the next two versions. This means you can have the entirety of versions 5.1 and 5.2 to complete them!
