All of this and more will be available with the newly announced ResidentEvil.Net site and functionality, announced at Capcom’s gamescom press conference.
With this site, see when your friends are online or look for available online co-op opportunities. You can even catch up on story documents and files collected in-game. Other features include the ability to join up into community events; killing 100,000 zombies was given as an example. Points can be won from these events to pump into exclusive in-game items. Fight for online Championship Belts that will keep changing hands with each winner.
