A new wild Fortnite adventure has begun!

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3: Wilds is officially underway. This season sports a jungle theme, various new weapons, items, reality augments, and more. Additionally, Epic Games fulfilled the long-standing rumor of mountable raptors in Fortnite. Here is a look at the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 patch notes, covering everything new from top to bottom.

Saddle up and ride a raptor in the new Fortnite season

As referenced in the leaked loading screen, mountable raptors have finally arrived as part of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 patch notes. These dinosaurs are similar to those in Chapter 2 Season 6.

You may also stumble across raptor eggs, which you can nurture and automatically tame once it hatches.

More new features: Grind Vines, Canopies, Mud, Flower items, and Job Boards

Grind Rails are back this season with a re-theme to fit the jungle aesthetic. These are now called Grind Vines but function the same as Grind Rails.

Canopies are a new addition, allowing players to ascend to the top of the jungle and rain fire down below. You can also use the Mud mechanics for camouflage and speed.

This season welcomes Bomb Flowers, Stink Flowers, and Slurp Plants. These exist around the map and will either explode, unleash toxic gas, or heal, in that order. Hop Flowers are also present to launch you and not deal any fall damage.

Bounty Boards are back this season too, but they have been renamed to Job Boards. You can now accept one of three tasks to earn Gold Bars.
