The Evolution Championship Series (Evo) just announced its first-ever Evo Awards event. Here’s everything you need to know about the Evo Awards 2025 event, including all of the different award categories, how to vote, where to watch the stream, and more.
Evo Awards 2025
The inaugural Evo Awards show is slated for Feb. 15 in Los Angeles, CA. In addition to Maximilian Dood as a special guest, folks can expect legends such as Justin Wong, Maximilian Dood, Michael “IFC Yipes” Mendoza, Sanford Kelly, and Duc Do duking it out on stage in Marvel vs Capcom 2. Meanwhile, the host of the show is Majin Obama.

As for the awards themselves, there are 21 categories in total. Examples include FGC Meme of the Year, Moment of the Year, and Best FGC Cosplay. Of course, there’s also the Best FGC Local category that celebrates and recognizes local esports scenes.

To vote for your favorites, simply head to Evo’s official page for the awards show. After clicking on a category, scroll down a bit to see the different nominees. Then, press the “Submit All Votes” button. Hit the “Next Category” button to continue voting.
Where to watch Evo Awards 2025
According to the official announcement, only invited guests can attend the Evo Awards event. However, folks who wish to cheer on their favorites from home can do so via Evo’sTwitch channel.
