It’s time to crown a PUBG Mobile world champion.
The PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2022 is almost here. From Nov. 10 to Jan. 8, as many as 50 teams from around the world will compete in the most prestigious PUBG Mobile Esports tournament for a share of the $4 million prize pool and the title of world champions.
The PMGC was first launched in 2020 as the world championship for PUBG Mobile. However, in its 2020 and 2021 editions, no LAN event was played due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This set to change this year, though, as Tencent has confirmed that the event will happen as an offline one.

The league stage will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia while the grand finals will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia. While the grand finals will likely feature a live audience, it’s unclear if the league stage will.

The PMGC 2022 will feature a completely revamped format from the past two editions with much more intensity. The league stage has been further split into the Group Stage, Survival Stage, and the Last Chance.

PMGC 2022 Grand Finals: Three days of action to crown a world champion
The PMGC 2022 Grand Finals is set to take place in Jakarta, Indonesia from Jan. 6 to 8, 2023. The nine teams from the Group Stage and four teams from the Last Chance will meet three invited teams in this stage. The three invitees include Alter Ego Limax, Team SMG, and one undisclosed team.

Where to watch the PMGC 2022?
Tencent will broadcast the PMGC 2022 live in multiple languages onYouTubeandFacebook. Tencent hasn’t updated the official streaming and casters list for the event yet, though.
The league stage will begin on Nov. 10 at 10:45 GMT.
