ESL Impact Season 5 enters DreamHack Dallas
This CS2 circuit is one of EFG’s #GGFORALL program initiatives. First launched in 2022, this program aims to create safe spaces for women to compete in esports.
“Since ESL Impact’s debut in 2022, we’re continuing to catalyze change and redraw the lines of gender disparity in esports through our dedicated ecosystem,“ESL Impact product manager Charlie Sircsaid.
Sirc added that Dallas marks the place where the ESL Impact journey took off. Therefore, her team cannot be more excited to return for another round of CS2 gameplay. “I really want women in the audience watching the games to feel inspired and believe that this could be them in a couple of years – because that’s what ESL Impact is all about.”
ESL Impact Season 5 Global Finals schedule
This CS2 esports event will take place between May 31 and June 2 at DreamHack Dallas 2024. The games will kick off with the Group Stage where eight teams will be divided into two groups of four.
Next, these groups will fight in double-elimination matches. While the opening and winners' matches will be best-of-one (Bo1) games, the elimination and decider matches will be best-of-three (Bo3) ones. Only the top two teams from each group will battle it out in the ESL Impact Season 5 Playoffs.

ESL Impact Season 5 Global Finals teams
As noted, a total of eight teams will take the stage at the ESL Impact Season 5 Global Finals. These teams will be BIG EQUIPA, Fluxo Demons, FlyQuest Red, HSG, Imperial fe, Let Her Cook, NAVI Javelins, and TSM Shimmer. Team Imperial fe, formerly Team Pigeons and Nigma Galaxy, won every ESL Impact trophy to date.
The majority of these teams earned a place in the ESL Impact Season 5 Global Finals after duking it out in online matches between March 6 and April 20. Meanwhile, in Asia, HSG advanced to the upcoming tournament through the Wildcard Qualifiers event between March 9 and 11.

In terms of what else to expect, the event will feature Sam “Tech Girl” Wright as the host, casters Lucy “LucyLuce” Eastwood, Brandon “BDog” Rawlings, Samantha “NaoriMizuki” Timms, and Anders, plus analysts Ksenia “vilga” Klyuenkova, Tilde “7licious” Byström, and Swayd “HiyaNoot” Barkhuizen. Meanwhile, the sideline reporter will be Anastasija “Heccu” Tolmačeva.
